Currently pursuing a PhD in Music at Trinity College Dublin, I have worked in education, pastoral care, and strategic development. As a Housemaster and Education Officer, I have extensive experience in student welfare, curriculum design, and operational management. My work at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral involved safeguarding compliance, marketing, content creation, and major fundraising initiatives.

The Royal & Prior School, Raphoe
Responsible for the health, welfare, and development of male boarding students (12–18), overseeing their pastoral care, daily routines, and behaviour management. Working collaboratively with the Head of Boarding to ensure a supportive and structured environment. Duties include daily supervision, organising extracurricular activities, handling emergencies, maintaining communication with parents, and coordinating security within the boarding house. Additional responsibilities include grant applications for building maintenance, and ICT and network administration.
Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin
Developing, offering and ensuring the quality of education programmes to visiting schools, third level institutions, and community groups, working closely with colleagues within the Cathedral, and with external freelance facilitators in the delivery of education programmes; developing liturgies. Managing safeguarding compliance concerning the Cathedral’s work with young people, Garda Vetting, policy writing, training delivery, and sitting on subcommittees.

Performing as one of 8 professional musicians, singing as a part of the Cathedral Choir for daily choral services; leading worship in collaboration with or in absence of priests.

As a music educator and performer, I teach voice, piano, and theory, backed by a PhD in Music and professional singing experience. My background in operations and project management spans education, safeguarding, grant applications, and large-scale event planning. I also specialise in website and IT management, overseeing digital signage, live streaming, and hosting solutions. Additionally, my writing and editing skills include copywriting, proofreading, and policy development, ensuring clear, engaging, and precise communication across various sectors.
